My day to day role is to Accurately assess and evaluate damaged vehicles and to find the extent of cost and repairs.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme due to how valued i am and how much time and resources are spent helping me to further my career

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes whilst i have been employed my customer service and communication skills have been impacted for the better due to peers and mentors explaining the value of customer satisfaction.
I have also gained a lot of knowledge in my field due to excellent mentoring.

Very well structured from both the college emtec and everyone at steer automotive

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I recieve loads of support if i ever have any questions and i have also been put on various training courses to help further my understanding and knowledge in this field

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We have frequent reviews to make sure i am okay and not falling behind but to also keep challenging me throughout my apprenticeship

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It really helps as i get to understand various ways of doing my job due to my mentors and also my peers when i attend college

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes we are lucky enough that we have multiple apprentice competitions and awards to acknowledge our work which really helps to make us feel special and keep us motivated
