Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Manage portfolio of internal audits, particularly those which have a data analytics angle. Also facilitate risk and deploy data analytics and digitisation strategy in team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I enjoy the programme although it is a time-burden for me when I have a number of responsibilities.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes - formalising concepts such as the Data Analytics Lifecycle has been useful. I have also learned how to use SQL, Python and R for extraction and analysis of data.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Fairly good. There could have been more logic applied to the structure, such as doing Data Warehouses after SQL as they both used SQL. Instead we had Python/R in between which meant it was difficult to pick SQL back up.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Positive support - They have been supportive of me and have helped me to prioritise, but it remains difficult when I have a lot of responsibilities.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Positive - they have been very flexible. I haven't had a lot of technical questions for the trainer to date.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I feel it is positive in terms of the things I am learning. However it is difficult to apply the learnings, whilst doing the day job and doing the training.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Not at present other than team days/outings.
