Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Training to be able to maintain Boeing aircraft by completing different maintenance tasks supported by experienced maintenance technicians. This could involve removing panels from aircraft or completing engine inspections. Whilst working towards completing a Level 3 Diploma.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have really enjoyed the programme so far and would definitely recommend it.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many valuable skills since starting my apprenticeship, like teamwork and time management, improving hand skills and much more.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is well structured, we have a year of exams and two years of OJT (on job training), in that time we are able to gather all the qualifications we need to complete the apprenticeship and be fully qualified for the job role
How much support do you receive from your employer?

We receive all of the support we need when necessary.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Our training provider assigns us assessors that are always readily available to help us with anything we may need regarding our qualification.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

it helps us develop the necessary skills we need to become qualified technicians.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
