Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Weighing out mixes for a large scale trials, aiding with mix making and running fats and solids tests on mix samples.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it it to a good extent, it's challenging but I like to take that on and use any challenge as a chance to improve

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Time management by being given tasks for the week and using my time effectively as well as internal relations.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well organised there is a good team around me and each apprentice has there own line manager that they report to.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer gives me good support, when I'm not understanding something I always have someone to advice me and aid my development of as a product developer.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Training providers provide adequate support, they are always quick to reply to emails and aswer questions when at university.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Reasonably well, the modules that we learn provide a base of understanding that can be carried through into the job such as food safety, raw materials and principles of product development.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Every Wednesday at Lunch I play football with other colleagues, it is a friendly game that allows us to relax and enjoy ourselves.

It is a massive company that has many different job roles meaning I could recommend to several friends, there is also a good community around site and is a great place to be an apprentice at.
