Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I run daily, weekly and monthly financial and non financial reports for RM International, Parcel force and Wholesale. These reports are extremely varied in terms of their contents and my role involves having lots of conversations with stakeholders all over the business.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I very much enjoy this programme as I'm always learning on the job and I like having the one day a week at college to split it up.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
During my time on the course, I have been able to learn many new skills and develop existing ones, with confidence being the main beneficiary. This confidence is through not only being able to create and grow relationships with colleagues, but also with stakeholders that I now communicate with regularly to effectively perform my role. This has also proven to much improve both my teamworking skills and independence as I'm able to carry out my duties from home.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
I think my programme is very well structured and couldn't be much better! The only slightly annoying part for my course is the wait between different stages of the apprenticeship e.g, between Level 2 and 3, there was almost a 6 month gap where we weren't at college starting on Level 3 because we had to do our in tray and epa (which we couldnt do until oct/nov time).
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive a lot of support from my employer, they couldn't do much more for me as I feel very comfortable in my job.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I receive a lot of support from Chesterfield college as they want me to succeed and pass all of my exams. They send me mock exams, power point slides from the lessons all via email and they're on hand to answer any questions I may have regarding anything I'm unsure on
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I feel that AAT helps me quite a bit in my role and vice versa as there's a lot of different aspects that interlink and that makes me more effective as a whole.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
At my work, there are lots of different extra-curricular activities that I can get involved in e.g volunteering opportunities, team walks/evening meals out and sports activities such as 'sports hour'
