Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
In my role I am tasked with assisting other solution advisors, including:
Creating microsites
Helping build demo content
Making videos
RFP passes
Any technical assistance
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
While I have enjoyed the more hands on parts such as creating a data dashboard, I find it difficult at times to relate some of the course content to my role and therefore have had challenges in those areas.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Since I started working here I have learned how to demo all of our LoB's products and gained extensive insight into how they work. I have become proficient at creating interesting and creative microsites and I've improved my ability to create short videos.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The apprenticeship programme is very organised, with each module and the timeline set out before I even started.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive plenty of support from my employer, whenever I raise a concern it is listened to and a solution is found.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive plenty of support from my training provider, including weekly meetings to go over my progress and make sure I'm on track to complete the current module.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
While the course is not easy to relate to my job role, it does give me a broader perspective and puts some things into context. | have been able to convey relevant parts of the course to my colleagues, which has been useful.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are many social events throughout the year, though I don't tend to go to them out of personal preference. These social events tend to be professional networking events.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend SAP to a friend?
Yes
Why?
SAP is the people that work for them, and they take good care of them.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to SAP?
If you need help, don't be afraid to ask, help is available. And, especially for solution advisors: be creative! Don't be afraid to test out wacky ideas, they are often the best kind.
