Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Most of the time is spent in classroom doing theory work, the topics are quite interesting. We have spent some time in the hanger at college learning and completing small tasks. The hanger has 2 retired fixed wing and 1 rotary wing aircrafts for students to work on.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
The programme itself is well thought out to give students the best resources and opportunities to learn.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Definitely. Never used tools before but now each time I complete a task I notice myself improving .I have also developed and improved my time keeping skills due to having to space out revision time for each part of the module to ensure I'm prepared for my exams.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Sometimes lack of resources ie notes and practice questions but very rare.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
For the actual work side of it the employed is very supportive and allow us to have a second attempt at exams if they are failed, however if you require support outside of work for things like mental or physical health there isn't much support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Loads. Lecturers are very good at delivering the modules as well as organizing helpful 'recovery sessions' for those who need to complete an exam re sit. So you're never just left alone to relearn things.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Gives all the information, skills and knowledge to allow me to complete my job effectively and correctly.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
No activities or sports organised by the company. Networking events only available for a select few and everyone else forgotten.
