Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Working in resolutions I handle clients and advisers complaints and concerns. This allows me to build effective relationships with clients and advisers helping to resolve their concerns. This involves written and phone contact with clients during and after a full investigation into their concerns
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

II love my apprenticeship in complaints because it’s incredibly rewarding to help customers and resolve their issues. It’s a great opportunity to develop my communication and problem-solving skills. Every day is different, and I enjoy the challenge of finding solutions and improving customer satisfaction. Plus, I’m always learning and growing professionally.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have continued to build professional relationships which has enhanced my professional skills whilst on the phone to clients and advisers. Time keeping is a big one in complaints due to the regulatory timeframes set by the FCA. Collaboration due to the investigations requiring many different teams involved

My programme gave me one day a week set to completing my apprenticeship work and personal development. This allowed me to keep on track with my apprenticeship work and balance a working job at the same time.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

During my apprenticeship programme, I've received tremendous support from my mentors and colleagues. They've provided guidance, feedback, and encouragement every step of the way. Regular training sessions and one-on-one meetings ensure I'm well-equipped to handle my role. Their support has been instrumental in my professional growth and development.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider offers exceptional support as I work towards my qualifications. They provide comprehensive resources, regular feedback, and personalised guidance. The tutors are always available to answer questions and offer advice. Their consistent encouragement and expertise ensure I stay on track and motivated throughout my apprenticeship journey.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

As part of my apprenticeship i completed the IOC 1 exam which gained me key learnings of financial products and the markets themselves allowing me to expand my knowledge in the financial sector

Yes, there are various extra-curricular activities at my work. We have social events like team outings, along with numerous professional networking events such as industry conferences, workshops, and seminars. These activities provide excellent opportunities for bonding with colleagues and fostering professional growth. Engaging in these events helps build a strong network and enhances collaboration outside regular work hours.
