Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

The first two weeks involved many site visits, talks and internship networking. The second two weeks involved more work in the office assisting members of my team on their work as well as working on a presentation of my own.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

I was able to experience a cross section of department helping me learn more about the roles available. However, I wasn't necessarily taught many new skills.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

HR were faultless, very helpful in their responses and took good care of the graduates. Team leaders may not have had enough time for interns which at time could be frustrating.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

I enjoyed the insight as I got a grab on what the company do. However I am not sure senior staff have has the time to understand students as individuals. HR however were extremely good.
