Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
During the vacation scheme, we began each day with a networking session where we got the opportunity to interact with senior lawyers of the firm as well as trainees, to know more about their individual roles in the firm.
Post lunch every day, we were expected to return to our allotted teams, where we completed a legal research task given to us by our mentor. We were also divided into teams, where we identified the firm's environmental goals and presented our learnings to a panel of partners on the final day of the vacation scheme.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It broadened my perspective on the responsibilities of an international law firm as I became aware of various roles such as the business development team and innovation team that worked for clients of A&O.
