Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
On day-to-day basis I do candidate management- emailing candidates and booking them into assessment centre's, responding to candidate queries, candidate screening internal and external, collating feedback and helping on projects when my manager needs me to.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy the networking and connectivity between apprentices from all walks of businesses. I enjoy interacting with apprentices from companies across the nation and learning about their roles and career journeys. My course has set me up with key skills such stakeholder management and customer relationship management. Further more understanding the dynamic and digital context around business helped develop knowledge on the opportunities and threats to the business.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
To begin I have developed and improved soft skills such as communication, team work, problem-solving etc. However, alongside this I have also developed my excel skills and analysis skills. I have developed my confidence and management skills. Finally, I've refined my organisation and time management skills when attending assessment centres.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My programme is yearly rotational allowing me to gain hands on experience across the business. The rotations allow me to further develop skills and gain insight into what I would like to do for a future career. The programme has allowed me to take on more responsibility as well as build my skills and networks across teams.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer is supportive and is consistently asking of I need any help or pointing me in the right direction to help with my assignments. My line manager will always help me develop skills and provide evidence for my portfolio. We look at my course and discuss where would be suitable to rotate and develop my skills to fit with the course.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I have a designated skills coach from my training provide who I have quarterly review meetings with my manager also dials into these. The meetings allow for any of my concerns to be discussed as well as my manager and skills coach to discuss my academic performance and work performance. Outside of the quarterly reviews I feel supported and comfortable to be able to message and email my skills coach and tutors regarding any queries,
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My training provider has supported me to learn and develop key skills within my role as well as giving me the academic knowledge in customer and stakeholder relationship management which has translated into my work in candidate management. The projects and portfolio module allows me to take on a problem within the business and fix it, allowing me to create a real life positive impact in my organisation.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Often there are events in the atrium which allow for networking and socialising. During religious periods their are often events on so that colleagues (even those who aren't apart of that religion) can join together and celebrate - for example come fast with me during Ramadan.
