Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Working as part of a software development team in the Artificial Intelligence domain. Partaking in standup meetings, design meetings, operations meetings. Writing code and documentation for new systems.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme is really good. The education provider has good quality lectures and labs, and the staff are really knowledgeable. My team is welcoming and supportive and I work with a number of other apprentices. We are able to fully partake in everything our team does and are actively contributing to Amazon products.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt Python, Java, Git, OOP, Agile with scrum, data analysis, and best practice in software development.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is well structured with regular weekly university days and consistent work at Amazon.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Amazon is a very supportive employer that pays well for an apprenticeship. There are plenty of internal resources to use to support my education. My manager is very supportive of apprenticeships.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Staff at Queen Mary (UoL) are very supportive. They have office hours for us to see them one-on-one and are also very responsive to emails and messages.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Amazon has a wide variety of groups that do extra activities. We also have professional networking events with other companies.
