Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I am Senior Account Executive, I work as an individual contributor leading the relationship with a number of customers and at the same time expanding customer's investment and bringing new customers onboard.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I massively enjoy my programme. I have the chance learn more about the sales function, from an academical and business perspective. Networking with the rest of the students part of the cohort is brilliant. Coaches teach great content based on their knowledge and experience.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have developed my existing skills and also learnt multiple new skills. i.e. business accumen, negotiation skills, communication skills, coaching skills, team management, strategy planning, reporting. It's a fantastic learning experience

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programme is really well organized. It's a great mix of onsite sessions, online sessions and time on my own to develop my learning experience. It's a very good mix because it really helps to blend studying with my professional activity.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer is extremely supportive. My manager provides me flexibility to allocate my working hours aligned to the peak of job volume in my daily job and along my learning programme. We plan accordingly and I can find time to work in a healthy enviroment at the same time I study.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My training provider, Consalia and Middlesex University, is fantastic. You can realize since day one that the programme is mature and they have a lot of experience running this apprenticeship. Teachers are ready to provide feedback or to have follow up calls to provide guidance and constant tips to ensure we fully leverage the learning experience.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I feel very optimistic about the added value that the qualification will bring to my CV. As a foreigner who moved a few years ago to UK, I have great academic records but this would be my first degree provided by a UK based organization, this adds a lot of value to my CV. Also the learning experience is fantastic as I have a learning experience different to the one I had in the country where I grew and got academical education.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
We have plenty of extra-curricular activities at my job. It's fair to say that most of the events are sales related but we also have opportunity to have team bonding activites to have a platform to better connect from a personal perspective with our job colleagues. There's also opportunity to join cultural and sports clubs.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend SAP to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It's a fantastic company. Great culture, fantastic products, leadership team and managers are incredibly supportive. It's a company that encourages constantly learning and development. It's a company that leads by example and focus on the actions and delivering a great experience to customers taking a lot of care of the professional and personal situation of the employees. Is one of the best companies to work worldwide.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to SAP?
Joining a leading company is not an easy journey. Top companies are constanly seeking for top talent, competition to get a role in SAP is high but it's also rewarding. People applying to SAP should also embrace it as a potential long-term run, you might be a good fit for the company for a particular role, but sometimes it might be needed that the applicant is develops some specifics skills or knowledge before finally gets a role at SAP.
