Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
I collect, clean, and transform data to create insights or provide personalised data views to stakeholders. i also build scripts and websites to achieve analysis needs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I enjoyed it a lot. The final process was very difficult, but wasn't an issue with the program and I think they helped prepare us for that.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes, I have learned a lot of new skills, both around all of the software and languages I was made to learn throughout the apprenticeship, but also my peoples' skills, such as teamwork and collaboration.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
I think there were a couple difficult areas when it came to the structure of the programme, like modules being left out because time constraints appeared, and the reshuffling of the modules made things confusing.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I received all of the support I needed when I requested it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
There was a lot of support and information, but sometimes accessing the support and information was difficult, for example there were a lot of ways to access different sources within the multiverse ecosystem, and you would be allowed to book coaches even if they were on holiday.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I think it supports me a lot, I know a lot of new techniques, and I know better practises thanks to it.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, we have our nextUK meetings for ECPs, we have coffee roulette tables that are really useful for networking.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Siemens to a friend?
Yes
Why?
really friendly attitude from everyone, really flexible to fit your needs, great benefits, good support.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Siemens?
Research the specific area of the company you are applying for - just knowing about greater siemens isn't what you want to do, there are so many cogs in greater siemens, you need to learn what your specific cog does.
