Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I work in the Future Talent Team here at Savills. In my role I work on the recruitment and management of those on our Future Talent programmes.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoyed my programme. It was such a great balance of learning and applying the knowledge and skills directly to my role.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Over my apprenticeship, I learnt lots of new skills and also developed my existing skills. This included coaching and leading managers and having difficult conversations.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme was very well structured and organised. As an 'upskilling' apprentice, I received plenty of support from the team around me and also the Apprenticeship Team.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
There was lots of support from my employer, including both my manager and the apprenticeship team. I was able to take my OTJ time throughout the course, and had regular check ins throughout the course.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I received good support from my training provider. As part of the course, we had two residentials. These were good ways to network with others on my course and build a relationship with my coach.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
This qualification definitely helped me progress to the next level in my role. Not only did it provide me with the knowledge and skills for the next step, it also allowed me to develop my confidence in my HR practice.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are lots of extra curricular activities offered at work. This includes various sports teams and sporting events. There are also lots of networking events to attend and events targeted specifically for my role. There are also a number of different events centred around Mental Health.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Savills to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Savills is a really great place to work. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an apprenticeship in the property industry, but also anyone looking for a more operational role.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills?
I would definitely advise reading up on the role that you are applying for. It is super important to understand what the role and apprenticeship entails, as some of the programmes are up to five years long. I would also suggest looking for some work experience here.
