Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My day-to-day would change all the time. It was a really interesting role where I was entrusted with a lot of responsibility very early on. I felt like a valued member of the team where all of my contributions felt important. I was guided to create my own projects while balancing the workload of the team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I have had an amazing experience with my apprenticeship. I can tell my managers and the course providers really care about my growth and development and it's been really great. I've been kept busy and felt like a valued member of the team (and to some extent the wider org).

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have further developed a lot of skills I already had, however, I believe this was due to applying as a career changer. I was challenged to try and expand my skillset by setting out to work on personal projects that would train me in unknown software. In 121s with my manager we discussed other soft skills such as time management that I could further develop and they would provide ample training/resources.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programs structure has suited my learning style a lot. A perfect blend of hands on experience with dedicated time for studies/learnings. The apprenticeship program respect my timelines and understand that during busier periods a certain level of flexibility is required. I've not felt under pressure or stressed around workload or demand.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I've received loads of support throughout my program as echoed in my previous statements. I genuinely feel like my personal development and growth are valued. I have frequent updates from my manager and regular updates from the tutor of the apprenticeship program sharing my progress and highlighting any key areas for development.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Same sentiment as above. Lots of support from both sides of the apprenticeship. That being the business and the tutoring side.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I feel there are some discrepancies between the training provided by the apprenticeship vs the role I have taken on. The key difference being that the program is more tailored to an agency recruitment role rather than apprenticeship high volume recruitment. There have been discussions around how we can tailor the learnings and the experience to be more relevant to the role and progress is being made.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
Most extra curricular are on a team by team basis. With most of the team being in remote locations or scattered there isn't as much opportunity as I may like for activities/meets outside of work.
