Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Learning and gaining field experience with an experience engineering. Helping to complete jobs and creating a portfolio that revolves around servicing gas appliances.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the freedom and trust given aswell as the future prospects of my career. I feel as if I have a career rather than just a job.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt alot of skills revolving around tools, gas safety and regulations. I understand more about the concepts and inner workings of gas and plumbing inside people's homes.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme overall has been structured well and support is given. We have a mixture of academic time and field based weeks. Although I do believe the notice period for apprentices could be lower as taking time during academy weeks isn't recommended.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have found that I haven't had to use many of the support options however we are provided with alot of work support and also mental health and financial support options.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I believe we are given the support required to gain the qualifications we are working towards.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

While I believe some things could do with an update regarding the gas safe qualification it is all relevant as old appliances still exist and need attention for continued safe of use.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There has been social events and sport activities such as football at the dartford academy that a large number of apprentices have taken part in.
