Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
On a day to day basis, I would run experiments contributing to the development of CGT assets. I also ran experiments to develop my project for the year creating a new method of analysis for CGT assets.
My role consisted of a lot of troubleshooting experiments and running them again till the desired results were acquired. I would then analyze the data and write up reports for my experiments.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given a lot of responsibility for my placement from the get go. You have to use a lot of your own initiative to get work done. I also had my project for the year that I had a lot of responsibility with creating and developing experiments to run. It felt as if I was a normal employee, which was extremely rewarding
