Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

in the academy we get in for 9am. have around 2 hours worth of breaks. a mix of hands on and practical. finish at 4:30.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i have loved it. love being hands on and learning new skills and gaining knowledge to become the best engineer i can be

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

100% our teacher gary has been great. everyone has different experience levels but the academy worked hard to get us all up to the same standard. problem solving is probably my best skill ive developed whilst being here. growing in confidence
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

out of 10 id say 9.9. very well structured but has space to be better. the traveling takes it toll but in the long run its well worth it
How much support do you receive from your employer?

from day one ive had huge amounts of support. whether thats from my LDM or CDM aswell as my mentors on patch. the senior engineers have been amazing with me and are always happy to answer the phone if i need anything
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

immense amounts of support. gary our LDM is always there to talk and helps us stay on top of our evidence
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

i can see the difference at the end of every week. we learn so much. British gas has been great
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

not much that i have seen but i can imagine there is.i was invited to the christmas night out but i didnt go

looked after me since day one. well paid and supported. if you do right by the company they do right by you. cant thank them enough for the opportunity
