Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
A mix of estate management and consultancy services such as valuation advice.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
The programme has been brilliant, I have been well supported in my work and studies and I have enjoyed growing as a professional

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, I have developed a skillset that is required for my role, I did not have these skills when I joined

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
There is a clear framework to follow as you progress through the five year, between Savills and UCEM.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
They have provided support in the office where I work and there is a dedicated team to support you if you have more concerns
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
They provided you will all the information required to complete the work asked of you, however it would be nice to have direct contact with a member of staff who understands the uni work and could answer questions directly.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
The qualification will allow flexibility to work in a variety of role within the built environment. This trade off means it left out some areas that I work on regularly, but I think this is a worthwhile sacrifice.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
None, however the opportunities are available.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Savills to a friend?
Yes
Why?
They have a well structured program, you benefit from being part of a large organisation who are willing to allocated resources to the development of their staff and everyone I met has been very kind.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills?
Have a real interest in the sector, this will speak for itself when applying.
