Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Managing a team of 17 technical repair engineers in boiler service and repair. Performance reviews, model visits, team meetings, staying up to date on safety, training and mandatory briefs, customer complaints, work shift rotas, sickness and absences, day to day issues experienced e.g. van maintenance
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I LOVE my role and the programme is great. I feel super supported by management and think it is a great grad scheme with the option to do 3 different 9 month rotations for business management.

So much - problem solving skills, taking ownership, having challenging conversations, excel and powerBI
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme itself is very well structured and organised - I had my van and phone ready for me following my induction. I would however have liked to know the location of my placement earlier than I found out.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Loads of support - I have GTM manager for the grad scheme, a buddy, my actual manager and a team of people I can lean on for support

I have been given some freedom to develop my own leadership style but have the support around me should I need it and my targets and objectives are clear

Lots of graduate events including Knowledge Share Day (organised by the early careers social committee which I am a part of). Grad hub events and diversity & incluson networks to get invovled in.

Don't be put off by relocating - you learn so much about yourself through the graduate scheme and develop so much.
