Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role involved going on site inspections, producing schedule of dilapidations, schedule of works, reading through lease documents, produced law contracts, and specification sheets. I had discussions with work colleagues and professionals, asking questions, and taking notes.
Used Auto CAD to measure the roof areas of a site that I had previously visited. I also edited discrepancies of an existing site to ensure the layout matched what I inspected.

I was given a considerable amount of support during my internship. My work colleagues were helpful when I asked for help, and when I provided queries regarding something I did not understand.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience because I learnt and developed myself within the Industry. I built my confidence as an individual in the role. The experience opened my eyes to what career path I would like to go on in my future.

What advice would you give to others applying to Savills
I would give the advice of telling an individual to not be nervous about walking into the Industry blind folded as you are given a nice welcome and all the support is provided to you to ensure you progress further. Be yourself in the interview and aim to stand out from the rest of the crowd.
