Working in electrical panels, pulling cables, PAT testing, general testing, working with SIMS and MIMS
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I find it enjoyable because the jobs are always changing and not one job is the same so it doesnt really get boring too much
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learnt lots of new skills. I had no electrical background prior to working for kier, however i have learnt a lot from working with the electrical teams and doing college lessons on thursdays is helping me develop my hand skills further
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Its organised most of the time however i have found that on most jobs there will be things missing in order to start the job and some operators getting taken off one ongoing job for another one. But its structed so that i know who the managers are, who the site managers are and them making sure imat college every thursday
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer. We have a lot of mental health talks and other events for things like handling finances and mental health and general health. They're also very understanding of certain situations as well
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Boston college is very supportive when helping to achieve the qualifications, they do a lot in the lessons but they also do a lot after college hours as well which is helpful if you're struggling in a certain aspect
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Its helpful a little bit due to the theory however when doing college practical is doesnt relate to the apprenticeship in anyway but i think the work we do is very specific

ask questions when you're on site or in the office, big yourself up in your CV but dont blatantly lie about things
