Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
In office work and site visits some of which have included the below;
Heat loss calculations for a new heat pump at a conversion.
Condition and measured surveys
Sourcing quotations for materials and workmanship
Meetings with estate managers to confirm outstanding jobs
Conducting snagging lists for nearly finished refurbishments
Autocad drawings
Visiting sights to conduct conditions surveys for queens estate
Meeting with contractors to discuss on going maintenance issue that need resolved

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It's been a great insight into the working world of the course I am studying at university.
Putting previous and new knowledge into practice has been a great experience. Learnt of the different departmental roles and how they all work together as team.
