Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
in my job role, I have to take calls (like a call centre) and help customers. I work under British gas insurance and deal with claims. from Tuesday to Thursday we get half a day to complete assignments and apprenticeship work. I have to come to the office once a month, usually it's all online and working from home. The modules and assignments are very boring i must say, it is like learning gcse business but backing it up with evidence from your job role. There is plenty of training and support before you work from home. You also get employee benefits as well. However, there are certain things we won't get such as bonus/ commission until you pass probation (which was me was 6 months and got extended after).
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy this programme i have met a lot of people and improved networking. I'd say the assignments are annoying though

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt a lot of IT skills in this job role because we have to use various systems and application. I have learnt how to talk to customers and show confidence and authority as well as empathy.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
there is 4 weeks training and then work from home and after that you get upskilled and trained further whilst doing you apprenticeship work. towards the end there is an end point assessment where you gather and generate all the evidence.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
there is ongoing support and training
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
i can reach out to my coach leader via email and she responds quickly too. she can extend the date of an activity if you are struggling.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I think all the things i m doing in my level 3 qualification, i have already done that in a level business. I wouldn't say i have learnt completely new things, there are few things which were new to me.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
there is charity work which you can volunteer after passing probation
