I am a general manager. I am overseeing the restaurants day to day operations and working towards the companies wider goals and vision.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme I enjoy the self taught aspect of it. However I wish I would have more time to dedicate for my learning.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I am doing an HR apprenticeship. I have learnt lots of new skills on this area. How to handle different hr situations to be legal and fair and still in line with company’s expectations.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is well structured. However I still have option to go between my modules and complete them in an order which more suitable for me.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

This could be improved. As a senior manager I don’t get regular check ins from the employer. If I don’t have resources (enough managers, increased workload) to dedicate some time for my learning I have to the learning in my free time.

We have lots of extra curricular events. Charity walks, football tournaments.
