Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Day-to-day my roles will be completing rooms to paint on my own from start to finish and a supervisor on site will check my work to make sure it’s up to standard. I will also help out in any way I can with tidying or smaller jobs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

This apprenticeship has opened my eyes to enjoying my career and I’m happy with all the opportunities Bagnalls has offered me.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes. Bagnalls encourages developing new skills including wallpapering and wall murals. They provide a training academy that all apprentices attend during our apprenticeship to further our skills.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

This company is very well structured and is focused on aiming as high as they can for their apprentices. Sometimes the communication within the offices is lost and information is confused on a semi regular basis but overall it is organised very well.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer wants me to exceed and grow my skills so I am given many opportunities to improve. My employer is also understanding about my health conditions and offers to support in any way they can.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My employer is very involved with my training and will provide many different forms of support to make sure all the apprentices are prepared for our EPA
