Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

managing trades on site as well as site logistics making sure all work undertaken is safe and the product quality is to the highest standard, also delivering talks and organising deliveries/pick ups of materials. this involves a lot of shadowing my superiors.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I do enjoy this as I can be hands on with my job as well as stepping back, being on site allows for the day to go faster and I feel as if my knowledge base from all trades is improving and i feel more confident in public speaking
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have learnt more managerial skills, leadership skills, speaking and listening skills, this has all been done by speaking and listening to operatives on site and then sorting any problems that we are faced with. As well as this my team skills have improved.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

the structure is good as I get a very good amount of real life and work experience as well as academics at university. I believe that this way you learn more as you are actually having to deal with it.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I always have support whenever I need it from my team as well as this my employer offers help whenever I need it I can contact HR on the main office with any problems or questions that I have.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have a contact who is available during all working hours so I can always ask any question if I need any answers to queries I have with my work from university or where to find information.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

i feel that i would learn the more technical side to the role and understand the why in which we conduct certain acts and learn more about the processes we go through and get a wider understanding in construction.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

yes there is football every Thursday and we go out as a team for dinner every now and then, there are also networking events every few months on offer
