Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Different projects every week, freedom to engage in things that I was more keen to learn about. Weekly catch ups with my manager to review my to do list and multiple opportunities to engage in activities that have helped me develop my knowledge in areas broader than Corporate Affairs.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes. Working with a team spread across EMEA & LatAm, I was given reponsibility to lead on various projects at the region level.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

Yes. Digital Skills utilizing various software, PowerBi, editing tools... Communication skills working on and delivering presentations. Analytical skills producing reports, building excels. Teamwork skills, working with colleagues across the world

My manager always supported me and I had other points of contact with whom I was in close contact weekly, helping them in various projects.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Fantastic. Very positive energy, people always valued each others' work and everyone is accountable for what their responsibilities are. I always welcomed to ask questions

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed this year. There have been busier and less busy periods, but overall I have been able to develop a lot of skills that will help me in my last year of university and when I graduate.
