Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

A day to day basis:
I support a range of sectors within sourcing such as engineering services, New product introduction, buying and purchasing and commodity management.
My day involves working with each sector and supporting where needed and giving projects what they need from sourcing.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes I was completely trusted and treated like a full time employee the responsibility i had was next level and i felt really valued. I purchased/spent a lot of money for the company.

What advice would you give to others applying to GE Aerospace

Even if your not entirely sure you are what they are looking for ie someone more technical do not let this put you off i did not expect to work in aviation and its worked out really well and i am not technically minded :)
