Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves providing support across a variety of projects, both residential and commercial, for example residential refurbishment projects. On a day-to-day basis, I conduct site inspections, prepare detailed reports, and assist with administrative and management tasks. Additionally, my responsibilities evolve and vary depending on the specific stage of each project, adapting to the developing needs of the project as it progresses.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy my program as it allows me to gain experience across a variety of projects, broadening my knowledge. I've had the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge practically and communicate effectively with my team, which has enabled me to learn and grow.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed new skills in conducting site inspections and managing small-scale projects. I have also gained valuable experience in ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders to ensure that client requirements are met. Additionally, I have enhanced my understanding of both the professional and technical aspects of the industry, allowing me to contribute more effectively to project outcomes.

I receive a great deal of support through having an apprenticeship buddy who I can turn to for guidance on both work and academic matters. Additionally, Savills has implemented numerous initiatives to support apprentices in their development within the business. As a result, I feel comfortable voicing any concerns or requesting assistance or training when needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive significant support from my training provider, including an apprenticeship outcomes office as my first point of contact for any queries or requests. Additionally, there are forums and designated teams that offer further support, which is highly beneficial.
