Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
In my day to day role, I assist Account Handlers with the renewal / new business process from start to finish, gaining knowledge to further my expertise.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I thoroughly enjoy the programme, it is set up in a way that I can easily balance work with my studies, with neither overpowering the other. We are given reasonable and fair deadlines to work within which doesn't make the programme too stressful.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt many new skills, too many to count. I have learnt all about insurance contracts and how they are constructed as well as formally quoting the product to the client as well as the insurers.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme is very well structured. The first 2 exams we were given 3 months each to complete, which was more than enough time. Now we are delving into modules with coursework as well as exams so we are given 6 months. We are also given regular catch ups and training sessions to help us with the programme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive more than enough support from my employer, I have regular catch ups and conversations with my employer regarding my progress in both work and the programme. I feel very supported in my role.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
We have regular catch ups and training / revision sessions with our training provider, leading me to feeling very supported.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The studies for my programme have massively helped me develop in my role as it is all very translatable information and skills.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are all of the above to get involved in at WTW, and I myself am involved with quite a few of them.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend WTW to a friend?
Yes
Why?
WTW feels like a very supportive and safe space to work and develop my skills as well as develop myself. The culture within WTW is perfect for anyone trying to thrive in their career whilst maintaining a healthy work / life balance.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to WTW?
I would always advise confidence when applying to WTW as well as the belief in yourself to succeed. I think that both of these things always shine through in interviews and can make up for potential flaws within your application.
