Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My day as a business admin contains of various jobs and I enjoy this because its not consistently the same jobs and it provides me with a challenge. I answer phones, emails, Purchase orders, events, meetings. I enjoy the variety of tasks Bagnalls provided me with.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am enjoying my programme as I get to learn news thinks everyday and challenge myself by doing new things. I enjoy doing my programme with Bagnalls because i never feel like an apprentice, they treat me as fair as they would a senior manager and i feel so welcomed.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have extended my knowledge on customer service as I answer the phone throughout the day and email back and forth with companies. I have learnt financial procedures and I create purchase orders to allow invoices to be paid in time for their due date. I have extended my knowledge on It skills also as Bagnalls ensures we have IT training.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is structed very well and clear. I have a lesson each month and then i have a study day one a day per week and this allow me to prepare for my assignment and task due date. I always receive calendar invites for my sessions and i am made well aware of how everything is set out.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive consistent support from my employer. They are always checking up on me to to ensure everything is going well and if there is any support I require. My manager attends my college reviews with me and takes notes of ideas that could help me out in my apprenticeships. I have one to ones with my manager to go through what i need help with.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

When I have a lesson my tutor is very keen to help us understand the lesson, if we do not understand she will help us the best she can. My tutor provides me with catch up and support meetings to provide me with extra help and support through my programme.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Even though I am still studying towards my qualification, I believe having these lessons with my tutor has provided me with a knowledge that helps with jobs I conduct day to day that I was struggling with in the past, so I believe once I receive my qualification, It will provide me a better understanding of circumstance I struggled with.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Bagnalls has there own hot air balloon and we have a list for each member to be given the opportunity to go up in the hot air balloon on the balloon festivals. We are provided with the opportunity if attended an awards ceremony. We attend workshops such as make the different events and workshops.

Why?
Bagnalls is the most amazing business I have worked for, I have never felt so welcomes in a company and they go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. I have received continued support throughout my time at Bagnalls and I am progressing within my programme.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bagnalls?
I would tell people to be there self as Bagnalls is a family business and they like to see you as your own person. If you like working as a team and communicating with others, this is the place for you as it feels like a little family.
