Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
In my role, I design and develop workflows that automate complex business processes, improving overall functionality and efficiency. By streamlining tasks and minimising manual intervention, I help companies reduce human error, enhance productivity, and optimize operations. My focus is on creating seamless, reliable systems that drive better business outcomes.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy my program as it offers a great balance of practical skills and theoretical knowledge. The mix of coursework, exams, and real-world applications keeps it engaging, and the focus on digital and technology solutions aligns well with my career goals. However, balancing work and online study can be challenging at times.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
In my role, I developed skills in workflow design, automation, and process optimization. I gained expertise in identifying inefficiencies, implementing streamlined solutions, and minimising human error. Additionally, I enhanced my problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and technical proficiency in automation tools, contributing to improved productivity and operational efficiency.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
My program is generally well-structured, providing a clear progression of modules that build on each other. The combination of online lectures, coursework, and exams is effectively organized, allowing flexibility for apprentices like me. However, occasionally, communication about deadlines and resources could be more streamlined to enhance the learning experience.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive strong support from my employer, especially in gaining practical experience and applying my learning to real-world projects. They provide flexibility for my studies and encourage professional growth. However, balancing work responsibilities with academic deadlines can be challenging, and more structured mentorship would further enhance my development.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I receive good support from my training provider, including access to online resources, lectures, and feedback on assignments. The lecturers are approachable and responsive to questions. However, more personalised guidance and clearer communication about expectations and deadlines would help in better managing the workload alongside my apprenticeship commitments.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
My qualification provides valuable theoretical knowledge and technical skills that enhance my performance in my role, especially in understanding digital solutions and automation. Applying academic concepts to real-world tasks deepens my expertise. However, some modules could be more aligned with the specific technologies and challenges I encounter in my daily work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, my workplace offers a variety of extra-curricular activities, including social events, charity initiatives, and opportunities for professional networking. I’ve participated in events like the Christmas Shoebox charity and led a Euro's football draw using PowerApps. These activities help build connections and enhance my teamwork and leadership skills.
