Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Leading a team of 16 technicians to deliver field delivery services in our customers homes. Providing coaching, training and mentoring to ensure high quality service. Conducting data analysis to ensure we have a productive workforce. Delivery of business updates and co-working with planning and other stakeholders to ensure excellent management of resources.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme has been fantastic with great support all around. The pace of delivery has been well thought out to enable me to schedule my workload to be manageable at all times. Good tutoring, excellent cohort of colleagues and fantastic support from my employer who have been monitoring and checking in all the time.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Developed and nurtured a vast amount of skills with project management styles, data analytics, roles and responsibilities. All of the basic knowledge I had has been taken to the next level by fine tuning skills and using them in the correct way at the right time. Have also learnt new specific project management skills which will definitely help me personally with my development.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Really thought out programme with regards to the pace and structure enabling me to complete tasks in my own time (obviously I had deadlines) but they were managed quite well. The programme structure is vast and requires a lot of work and planning to ensure you meet the deadlines and I felt this was done perfectly.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer has been with me every step of the way, absolutely fantastic to see I was not left alone to complete my tasks and modules. Check in calls were conducted regularly and a sponsor allocated to me who ensured I was supported all the way through.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
the tutors worked with me to ensure I had an understanding after each module. They were always on hand to offer additional support if required.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think the training has fine tuned existing skills and I most certainly have developed new skills which help me on daily tasks as well as projects. So, the my qualification will most certainly help me perform better in my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have amazing networking events available to join at any time. We also have bespoke wellbeing calls and classes that are available to all colleagues.

E.ON care about my development and help and support me to achieve goals that would benefit me and my company. They are an excellent employer that offers every available support and guidance you could possibly need.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to E.ON UK?
Definitely apply, I have been here over 15 years and have never regretted joining E.ON, never looked back and never applied elsewhere. It is a good company to work for and will help and guide you everytime.
