It's been really life changing. It's something I thought I would never do, I always wanted to & now there's no stopping me.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've learnt to manage stress well. I've developed good time management in kitchen, which really helps when under pressure. I've also improved knowledge in the handling of food.

Don't underestimate yourself, believe in yourself & you'll be ok. Theres no discrimination I'm 43 , I never thought apprenticeships were for people my age!
