Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

On at day to day basis I reach out to key stakeholders and clients in order to help complete projects in different areas of the business. I also attend university lectures once a week and have lots of opportunities to travel and meet new people.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme as it provides me with a lot of travel, leadership and networking opportunities that I am encouraged to take part in. I also have a lot of support from the early careers team and senior leaders in the business.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have definitely developed my networking skills and time management skills as I have had to communicate with a lot of stakeholders and be able to manage work and study.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is well structured and works in 6 month placements which you are able to choose which area you work in for the placements. The is also frequent communication between the early careers team and my university provider to ensure the programme runs smoothly and my work and study corelate.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive plenty of support from my placement manager and early careers team with frequent catch ups and opportunities to voice concerns. I am able to request extra time for study if required.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There is lots of support available from the university with monthly calls with the university and my placement manager to discuss my programme. I also attend in person lectures and workshops every 6 weeks and how lots of opportunities and contact streams if I require any support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification provides me with key skills provided for the role as well as technical knowledge that I am able to use in day to day activities.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are a wide range of networks I can get involved in such as women in leadership, embRACE ect and lots of opportunities to attend networking events and award cerimonies.
