A typical day in retail involves , helping to make sure the store is fully stocked and well presented , helping customers with their day to day needs , serving and promoting items when on the till and at the end of the day ensuring the store is clean and well presented for the next day .
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

it’s been a different experience for me , one that i have enjoyed . A kind welcome from the team as well as my tutor too. it’s helped me to develop and gain more skills to help me along in the future.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

In this role i have learned how to deal with customers developing my customer service skills further in order to benefit the store. learning to balance my apprentice work as well as my everyday work. Also learning to work as a team and help everyone succeed together .

my programme is well organised and structured , i am always aware of new tasks to do and always updated on my work as i complete it .
How much support do you receive from your employer?

i receive constant support from my employer with either help on my apprentice work or on the shop floor, always giving me feedback on any tasks i complete and how to improve when needed .
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Always receiving support from my training provider , she comes into store every week to talk about my work and find out how i’m getting on with my tasks , always updates me on my current work and supports me when needed
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

it gives me more knowledge and understanding on any tasks given to complete on the shop floor .
