I enjoy the programme thoroughly. I have learnt and am continuing to learn lots. I have met and been exposed to many industry experts.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The initial 6 months of the programme could have had more structure to help guide me into a new role. I now have mentors and support from colleagues when I require it. I have had the opportunity to tailor the programme to areas I am interested in.

I receive good support from my university. I am an active course rep and so keen to address issues we face and resolve them.

I think a lot of the learning comes from the job. I believe I have gained understanding of reflection in the workplace and how to apply theories to real life workplace scenarios.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes. I have a good relationship with my colleagues and we arrange socials outside of work. Furthermore, I am part of the people pillar and wider outreach programmes.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Unilever?
Be authentic and hardworking. A lot of the job is people focused and so it is important to communicate well with others.
