Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
develop and implement social value initiatives that align with business and client needs. Day-to-day, I track and report social value metrics, support bids and tenders, engage stakeholders, manage partnerships, and oversee projects in employment, education, sustainability, and community support.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
It will be worthwhile once it is completed, to be honest the organisation and contact from QA hasn't been great and the workshops are very repetitive. I feel we are slightly disadvantaged by not being abel to move around the business and instead having to do this in current roles

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Since stepping into my role as Social Value Delivery Manager, I’ve developed my strategic planning and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in aligning social value initiatives with business objectives. I’ve also strengthened my ability to track and report social value metrics, navigate payment processes, and deliver engaging presentations to different audiences.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
Quite poor really with last minute changes and lack of contact from QA. I've been waiting since July last year for my APM exam to be rescheduled but QA do not get in touch unless chased. Overall, I would say they are not a great provider, I'll be glad to finish the degree
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Support from my manager and wider team is great
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Again, not overly impressed with QA. Although I now have a new skills coach (my third!) so will see how this goes.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I think this is down to me implementing this and the research I do, outside of what I've learned from the training provider
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, plenty of professional networks and social activities. Not aware of any sports teams though
