i shadow my manager working on the electrical part of HVAC systems. sometimes that includes looking over 2D electrical drawings, joining meetings about live projects, or doing site visits.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have developed my CAD skills significantly through work and university study. i would say im much better at Excel now and feel more confident when using that. i also think my communication skills have improved as ive learnt about how the modern workplace uses Email and teams.

there is a bit of a disconnect between university learning and at work tasks but overall seems well structured
