Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

In this role I generally practise electronic technician skills whilst attending a university centre once a week. It should be noted that this is not representative of the entire apprenticeship as after around 18 months site placements start which can offer interesting opportunities to learn engineering skills.

The company's organisation is very good but the provider for the HNC to degree level education is poorly organised.

Yes
Why?
It is a good company to work at however there are also large disparities that exist between certain different apprenticeships of the same level.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to AWE?
Research the company beforehand to learn about its four core values and the different aspects of the business (e.g. forensic seismology)
