Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
daily tasks involve with installing circuits to a distribution board and depending on what task you are on depends on what your day to day looks like
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I do enjoy it but i feel like it's very separated from out on site and makes you think they aren't really bothered with you which isn't something that you want because it doesn't help when going out there from the academy

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
i've learnt how to fault find and i've also learnt which cables are used for which circuit and what basic electrical maintenance needs to be carried out to insure a safe working experience

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
It's well organised and structured
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
The support we need is based of the person and what they need support with so the support is quite good
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
we do get help with it but with the electrical i feel like it would help us more if the course they picked for us to at college was strictly a electrical course it would be better as the course we are doing doesn't really have any relevance
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I feel like we should become electricians through this apprenticeship instead of just becoming someone that can maintain electrical circuits
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
I haven't looked
