Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
First 6 months:
Supporting different campaigns by carrying out small scale practical work and reviewing data.
Carrying out technical cleaning documentation for new equipment introduced to site.
Last 6 months:
Working on a continuous manufacturing technology that is in the early development stages. Being responsible for gathering data, collecting samples and arranging sample shipment.

Given a large amount of responsibility from an early stage in my placement however support is always available if you are unsure on what you ae doing.

Everyday I work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, improving my communication and team work skills.
My presentation skills have developed and I have grown in confidence throughout the year.
Being part of the industrial placement committee has improved both my organisation and leadership skills when organising events.
