Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I work in a client services team, providing support to account executives by creating documentation, drafting emails and many other more administrative tasks contributing to the process of placing insurance.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I enjoy the programme. It is very useful for someone getting into the industry as it provides extra support. Some of the extra tasks you have to do for the apprenticeship seem a little unnecessary, making it sometimes a little difficult to balance work and apprenticeship tasks.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt the ins and outs of insurance, how to deal with high profile clients, how to create insurance documentation and how PI insurance works. I have also learnt about regulations and processes.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Well structured - regular calls and catch ups are always in place.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
My employer is really helpful - we get study days before exams and at the end of the scheme and they allow us to take time to study when needed as long as work doesn't take a hit.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I can't fault my skills coaches - they have all been excellent. Really helpful and genuinely takes an interest in my success and wants me to do well.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Really useful when starting out as it gives some helpful background to the london market and insurances as a whole.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Sometimes we have social activities which will include going for drinks/meals. There are also opportunities for networking events with insurers or law firms.

Would you recommend WTW to a friend?
Yes

It is a nice place to work. The people are really friendly and can have a laugh. There's lots of support and knowledge for them to share so it really helps you progress your own knowledge and capabilities.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to WTW?
