Understand the portfolio review of the team. Understand the mailbox and document delivery process. Assess a variety of queries in the mailbox that cover the product and services offered by GSK. Use AI learning tools and put together information into graphs using SQL developer. Understand how to contact external vendors and request renewals. Use one not to update renewals with vendors and draw up amendment's.

I was given a lot of responsibility during this placement. I was dealing with external vendors which mean this could affect the reputation of the business therefore I had to be professional. As well as this, I was dealing with thousands of pounds therefore I had to be weary where the money was spent in order to get the best use out of the teams finances.

I have developed my communication skills especially via email and teams. The vanacular used during communicating with external parties and the importance of keeping record of all notes. As well as this, I have developed my time management skills as many times throughout the year I had many projects to complete. This meant that I had to created my own priorities within the projects I was undertaking.

My manager was very flexible in terms of the work I was able to do which was very reassuring as it meant that I could do the work that I was interested in and ones that would help me find out what I wanted to do in terms of a career stand point. As well as this, he was very accommodating for my needs, if I needed holiday, if I was onsite or not.

The company culture was very welcoming and inviting even if you're a placement student. They treat you like one of their own. They enjoy friendly conversations as well as work related talk. So overall the general atmosphere was very welcoming.

I thoroughly enjoyed my placement as it mean that I was able to undertake work that I was interested. As well as gaining experience in a company that has a great reputation and that will look great on my CV. I had continued support from my team so if I ever had a query I was able to consult a member of staff at all times which was very reassuring.
