Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Placement at E.ON last 6 months on rotation so my role and specific day-to-day tasks will always change. Things that carry over are things like communicating with stakeholders from around the business and working on projects that I can own that eventually have an impact on the business goals.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I absolutely love my apprenticeship. I feel like I'm in full time employment as I'm not treated any less and I'm able to earn and earn at the same time which is a huge perk. From an academic standpoint, it can get quite lonely as apprentices can feel quite isolated but I can say the opposite for E.ON.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I've been able to gain an insight to the professional world, specifically the busy nature of marketing. As a result of this, I've been able to balance different priorities at the same time while working effectively towards tight deadlines.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The apprenticeship is structured in a way that allows apprentices to explore different parts of the business every 6 months.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
I always have plenty of support from my colleagues even outside of my designated support circle. Whether it's my line manager or even random colleagues from around the business, I always feel like I'm supported and not alone.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
I feel as if there is a lack of support from my training provider when linking back to E.ON however we have access to termly check in calls to manage progress which allows me to stay updated on work/progress.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
At university (my training provider) I can continue to expand my marketing expertise that I can eventually bring to the workplace.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There's plenty of these, I've been to events across the country where I've been able to network with people from different organisations. Internally, there is also a diversity and inclusion network that I'm an active member of.
