What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
You were introduced to different departments within Bloomberg even beyond the department you have applied to. You were given a clear outline of how you would progress within each role. You were also given opportunity to ask current employees questions. Employees of different ranks were present.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Collaborative. Inclusive.
You felt comfortable talking to any current employees and referred to them by their first names. Everyone sought to help you out. You worked as one big team, where everyone’s individuality was valued and NOT as isolated individuals whose job was to bring others down.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
It was amazing. Literally on the second day it felt as you were already part of Bloomberg and when the insight ended it was weird that you didn’t have to return to your team to work on the projects further.

Be yourself and don’t try to gain points by showing off for example your leadership skills by bringing others down. Bloomberg values collaboration. If you have a strong urge to help others out, this is the right place.
