Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
Define the scope and objectives of testing activities.
Ensure alignment of the testing strategy with project goals and requirements. Establish and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Implement and oversee the use of QA tools and frameworks. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations.
Participate in project meetings and provide QA insights. Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Promote and implement test automation where applicable.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
The program has significantly enhanced my time management skills, meeting preparation, and meeting facilitation strategies. My communication abilities have improved, allowing me to build stronger relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
I have also become more aware of unconscious biases and how they influence my thinking. Additionally, I have learned effective problem-solving techniques, conflict resolution strategies, and stakeholder management practices.
Overall, this experience has been incredibly enriching, equipping me with tools to maximize productivity and effectiveness in my daily activities.
