Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The week was structured in a very organised way. the timetable was detailed and clear. we would start at 9 am and finish at 5 pm. Every day we had the chance to hear insights from Bloomberg's current employees, understand their role and responsibilities. it was very useful to be able to understand the different departments within the company and connect with people to expand my personal network as well
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
it was very useful as I was able to understand more specifically the role I might apply for in the future according my strength and skills. I really enjoy dealing with people and clients and helping them in whatever they need. I love making myself as helpful as possible, and always be willing to help.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have definitely increased the level of confidence, speaking in public has always been very hard for me, however with the toastmaster sessions and the final project presentation I feel more confident in seeking in front of a large audience. Secondly, I have learnt to use the terminal more, understand different functions and how to get the data I'm looking for even if it may require some time.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everybody was very welcoming, friendly and nice. Always willing to help, understand your need and always happy to answer all the different questions. the culture and atmosphere were highly motivating and the level of collaboration was remarkable. all participants were hard-working and willing to make the most out of this amazing experience

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed this amazing experience. I truly appreciate this opportunity and I am very glad I was able to participate, share opinions, ideas and perspectives. the project work really gave us the chance to put into work what we had learnt during the week, convey teamwork and our personal abilities.

I would advise them to be ready to absorb a lot of useful and important information. be ready to ask questions and not feel afraid of sharing opinions.
